Amarumayu is a global youth-led organization based in the heart of the Amazon, Peru. Today, the fires in the Amazon have caused by rampant deforestation have destroyed the lives and homes of millions. Having witnessed the catastrophic consequences of the Amazon Rainforest destruction, from displaced indigenous populations to the escalating damage to the environment, we've banded together as a small group of passionate youth from across the globe who are dedicated to fighting against the devastating destruction of this region.

We propose the creation of an immersive, educational trivia app centred on the Amazon Rainforest complete with games and challenges. Modeled around successful learning platforms like Duolingo, Kahoot, and Trivia Quest, the app will adopt an engaging and interactive way of educating users worldwide about the Rainforest's beauty and vital importance. As users complete challenges and maintain a daily streak, they will earn points that convert into real-world donations. In addition, leaderboard achievements will reward users with unique prizes such as virtually adopting a capybara or planting a real tree in the Amazon. All rewards will be visualized using advanced AI and satellite tracking technology. 

This initiative guarantees that 100% of generated revenue will be donated to the Brazilian Amazon Fund, offering a direct pathway for our users to contribute towards conservation. This approach ensures almost anyone with internet access around the world can contribute to the Amazon's restoration regardless of background- just by spending a couple minutes a day completing challenges. Assuming the app accumulated 5,000 active users in its first year, we estimate we can raise around $20,000 in ad-revenue alone. This figure does not include the match donations from our impact investors, which could effectively double or even triple this amount. By raising awareness and providing an avenue for global community support, we believe we can turn the tide on deforestation and help restore the Amazon to its former glory.
